Aurora, CO - Buckley AFB - The Bullock's Oriole [Icterus Bullockii] is a small New World blackbird. At one time, this species and the Baltimore oriole were considered to be a single species, the northern oriole. This bird is named after William Bullock, an English amateur naturalist. [Wiki]

on August 9, 2021Wonderful shot of the bullock's oriole! Interesting that this was shot up in Aurora...I have never seen an oriole since we have lived in Colorado...obviously, something different about the environment there.
