Mural - Abraham Lincoln's Farewell Speech
Illinois, Springfield - Places of Interest - Mural - Abraham Lincoln's Farewell Address in 1861 "Here I have lived a quarter of a century, and have passed from a young to an old man. Here my children have born, and one is buried. I now leave, not knowing when, or whether ever, I may return...."
Much as the life of Abraham Lincoln ended abruptly, so did this mural. We respectfully dedicate this unfinished work to Springfield’s best known citizen and America’s greatest President – The Vala Family
