The grounds surrounding the chapel as well as the structure itself were the gifts of Sea Ranch residents. Re: my new lens--I have been somewhat warned off of using a lens with that wide a range, but decided to give it a try, to have a "travel lens" that I can handle well, and only need one lens when I fly, etc. It is only 3 ounces heavier than my favorite 70-300 mm lens, but goes down to 18 mm, a big plus. We'll see if it was a wise purchase or not....
