Deception Pass Bridge
Anacortes, WA - A pair of bridges known collectively as Deception Pass Bridge cross Deception Pass. [Wiki]
On the day I shot this image I must have had an "Epiphany" or an illuminating discovery, realization, or insight as the structure is far more interesting than the top surface of the Bridge. This leads me to my next discovery that there is evidently a day on the Calendar for having Epiphanies on “Epiphany Day” which occurs on Jan 06 2019. Wikipedia - Explains Epiphany, also Theophany, Denha, Little Christmas, or Three Kings' Day, is a Christian feast day that celebrates the revelation of God incarnate as Jesus Christ. on January 6, 2019I agree that this bridge is great to shoot from below. I also like to walk over it, however, as I've looked down on the water and the trees and seen Bald Eagles perched. It's not every day you get an "eagle eye" view of an eagle! ;-)

on January 6, 2019Excellent shot, and I love the backstory and the way you have incorporated it into "Epiphany Day". I think there are a number of bridges along Hwy 101 in Oregon that call out to be photographed from similar POV's.
