Lake of the Woods Covered Bridge
The Lake of the Woods Covered Bridge is a replica of the Pepperel Covered Bridge near Boston, MA. The bridge, in reality, is a steel stringer bridge with a wooden top built in 1965 to connect the two sides of Lake of the Woods Forest Preserve in Mahomet.

on July 26, 2019Neat homage to the original bridge. This one seems to have outside uncovered pedestrian walkways (good for safety of the walkers), but I wonder if they were part of the original Boston MA bridge design.
Beautiful shot of it in its leafy environment
