H.K. Porter 0-6-0 "Fireless Cooker" Locomotive #7
Bellevue, OH - Mad River & NKP Railroad Museum - Built in 1943, this H.K. Porter 0-6-0 "Fireless Cooker" Locomotive #7 was built for the Avon Lake Plant of the Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company. With no firebox, this engine used a charge of superheated steam from a stationary boiler that would last about 4 hours.
