Mad River & NKP Railroad Museum
Bellevue, OH - Mad River & NKP Railroad Museum - This Locomotive is a plaster and wooden model of the first locomotive in Ohio. The original locomotive was built by Rogers, Ketchum and Grosvernor Machine Works of Paterson, New Jersey in Oct, 1837 for the Mad River & Lake Erie RR. A set of several model were built for the 1904 World’s Fair and the rest are on display at the B&O RR Museum in Baltimore, MD. It came to the museum in 1992.
