Rick Willis > AZ-Apache Junction-2005-09-18-1001 I normally try to reduce the effect of leaning objects caused by angle and lens characteristics. But in this photo I used the effect to help unify and provide depth to an otherwise unremarkable photo.

Rick Willis > AZ-Apache Junction-Hwy 88-Apache Lake-2003-09-20-1001 This was taken with a Olympus 2.1mp camera. Not much by today’s standards. I like the composition and should it rain enough to turn things green again I will have to make another trip out there with newer equipment and try to get a better technical shot.

In Arizona that same pond qualifies it as a State Park and charges fees for access. I spent nearly four hours exploring the banks of this oversized mud puddle to insure that I got every cent of photographic value extracted for which I had to pay. It wasn't the $4.00. It was the principle of the thing.
Rick Willis > AZ-Apache Junction-Hwy 88-Granite Reef-2005-07-24-1002 This was a real test trying to shoot with a lens that has a minimum focus length of 18 inches and learning a new camera all combined with dragon flies that take flight at the slightest movement.
